Zhu Qiuguo

Zhu Qiuguo, born in 1982 in Haining, Zhejiang, is founder and CEO of DEEP Robotics and an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at Zhejiang University's College of Control Science and Engineering. He founded the company in 2017 with colleague Li Chao; its 'Jueying' quadruped robots were the first in China to achieve fully autonomous substation inspection and are deployed across more than 100 substations of State Grid and China Southern Power Grid. DEEP Robotics ranked first globally in industrial-application quadruped robot revenue in 2025, and its STAR Market IPO application was accepted in 2026 with a planned raise of CNY 2.5 billion.
