Zeng Yuqun

Zeng Yuqun was born in 1968 in Ningde, Fujian. He graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1989 and later earned a master's degree from South China University of Technology and a Ph.D. in condensed matter physics from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He co-founded ATL in 1999 and served as its President and CEO, then founded CATL in 2011, where he is Chairman. CATL is the world's largest EV battery maker and is expanding into energy storage and data-center backup power for AI infrastructure.
