Howard Yang

Yang Chonghe (Howard Yang) co-founded Montage Technology with Stephen Tai in 2004 and serves as its chairman, executive director, CEO and chief scientist. He earlier worked at National Semiconductor and Shanghai Belling, and in 1997 founded XinTao Technology, which merged with IDT in 2001 in an USD 85 million deal. Montage is a global leader in memory interface chips for servers and AI infrastructure; the '1+9' distributed buffer memory architecture he led was adopted by JEDEC as the DDR4 LRDIMM standard. He is an IEEE Fellow and IEEE Life Fellow.
