Liang Rubo

Liang Rubo is co-founder and CEO of ByteDance. He co-founded the company with Zhang Yiming in 2012 and led product and R&D for Toutiao, its advertising system and Douyin before taking charge of Feishu and HR. He became CEO in May 2021 and has since reorganised ByteDance into business units and refocused the company on AI, with Doubao as its flagship assistant and 'climbing the AI peak' as its annual strategy. He was named to the TIME100 AI list in 2024 and 2026.
