Ge Haiquan

Ge Haiquan, born in February 1964 in Hebi, Henan, is founder, chairman and actual controller of Henan Shijia Photons Technology. He ran a furniture factory from 1984 to 1999, switched to optical communications in 2000 and, in 2010, partnered with the Institute of Semiconductors of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to establish Shijia Photons, building China's first PLC optical splitter chip production line. The company listed on the STAR Market in August 2020 and has built an IDM chain covering chip design, wafer fabrication, chip processing and packaging for PLC splitters, AWG chips and DFB laser chips.
