Wayne Dai

Wayne Wei-Ming Dai founded VeriSilicon in August 2001 and has served as its chairman, CEO and president ever since. He holds a BS in computer science and a PhD in electrical engineering from UC Berkeley and was a professor of computer engineering at UC Santa Cruz before founding Ultima and co-founding Celestry. VeriSilicon is the largest semiconductor IP licensing and one-stop chip customisation provider in mainland China, with IP covering NPU, GPU, VPU, DSP and display processing, and listed on the STAR Market in August 2020.
